The term "Kothi" house typically refers to a type of large, standalone house or mansion that is common in South Asian countries such as India. These houses are typically multi-story and feature spacious, well-appointed rooms with high ceilings, large windows, and ornate finishes. A kothi is basically a bigger bungalow. It can be a single storey or multiple storey bungalow with verandah, porch area, greenery and a lot more. It is usually occupied by a joint family. A kothi generally has a large hall in the centre with 2-3 rooms outlining it.
